Lors du Vendredi Découverte du vendredi 21 novembre 2025 à 11h00, Tamara Jackson nous a présenté : “Towards sustainable food systems transformation: Managing water related constraints in the Eastern Gangetic Plains of South Asia"
Résumé : This presentation will describe work undertaken in the ACIAR-funded Rupantar project which aims to understand and communicate the processes and practices for equitable and sustainable transformation of food systems through livelihood diversification and the enabling environment that helps them go to scale. Water resource constraints in the region include elements of access and availability as well as climate related challenges. The project works to understand the broader energy-irrigation nexus as well as exploring options for irrigation constrained livelihood diversification.
