In the context of water resources, FUNCEME is carrying research and developing tools (e.g., DSS) on how to incorporate climate information on water management in different time scales. Several research projects are focused on impact assessment of climate variability and change in the water sector.

The recent history of research cooperation with IRD/CIRAD/GEau is briefly described along with a discussion of future perspectives in this regard. This year initiative on attracting more PhD/MSc students is also discussed. The main research projects of FUNCEME are listed and briefly explained.
